LED BLINKING COED AND FAULTY LOCATIONS 

1.LED BLINKS 2 TIMES
Indicates there is some problem in power (POWER-DET)
Causes
12V line on Power Board 1.
VERD micro on BA1 board Pin6 detects POWER-DET and shuts down chassis power to standby status.
Check points and remedy
VERD micro Pin6 Normal condition: 1.3V - 2.5V
Error case: lower than 1.3V or higher than 2.5V
Replace Power Board 1.

2.LED BLINKING 6 TIMES (Back light Error)
Indicates panel power circuit error such as inverter.
Causes
VERD micro (on BA! board) Pin40 detects PANEL-DET and shuts down chassis power to
standby status.
VERD micro Pin40 Normal condition: High / Error case: Low (lower than 0.8V)
Check points and remedy
Replace Panel or Power1)/Inverter Board .

3.LED BLINKING 7 TIMES (Temp Error)
indicates high temperature inside chassis.
Causes
IC5507 on BA1 board is monitoring temperature.
IC5507 is controlled by VERD micro.
Check points and remedy
Check chassis environment.
Check around IC5507 and replace BA1 board if temperature monitoring circuit has problem. Check panel.

4.LED BLINKS 8 TMES (Audio Error)
Indicates Audio Error (Protection).
Causes
IC8200 on BA1 board, Audio Amp detects over current, thermal shut down and/or low voltage of itself.
DC voltage detected for audio line.
VERD micro Pin5 Normal condition: High / Error case: Low
Check points and remedy
Check UNREG15V at CN6401 Pin4 and Pin5 on BA1 board .
And F3401 on BA1 board has 13V or not.
Check above and replace BA1 board.

5.LED BLINKING 10 TIMES (DEF Error)
Indicates DEF communication error.
Causes
TVM micro (on BA1 board) is communicating with EMMA3SL (on BA1 board).
Check points and remedy
Check above and replace BA1 board .

LED BLINKING 11 TIMES (NVM Error)
Indicates VERD NVM communication error.
Causes
VERD micro (on BA1 board) is communicating with NVM (on BA1 board) .
Check points and remedy
 Check above and replace BA1 board.

7.LED BLINKING 12 TIMES (I2C Error )
 Indicates I2C communication error.
Causes
VCTP micro (on BA1 board) is communicating with each devices (on BA1 board).
Check points and remedy
Check above and replace BA1 board .

8.LED BLINKING 13 TIMES (Balancer Error )
Indicates panel power circuit error such as inverter.
Causes
VERD micro (on BA1 board) Pin81 detects PANEL_DET and shuts down chassis power
to Standby status.
VERD micro Pin40 Normal condition: High / Error case: Mid (0.85 - 2.65V)
Check points and remedy
Replace Panel or Power1)/Inverter board.

9.LED BLINKING 14 TIMES (HDMI Error )
Indicates HDCP error.
Causes
HDMI setting trouble matter on BA1 board.
Check points and remedy
Check above and replace BA1 board.

10.LED BLINKING 15 TIMES (Tuner Error )
Indicates Tuner error.
Causes
VCTP and EMMA3SL micro (on BA1 board) is communicating with Tuner (TU2200) on BA1 board.
Check points and remedy
Check above and replace BA1 board.

11.LED BLINKING 16 TIMES (I2C-CH1 Error )
Indicates I2C communication error.
Causes
VERD micro (on BA1 board) is communicating with Audio processor (IC3201) on BA1 board.
Check points and remedy
Check above and replace BA1 board.

12.LED BLINKING 17 TIMES (I2C-CH0 Error)
Indicates I2C communication error.
Causes
VERD micro (on BA1 board) is communicating with Real time clock (IC5502) on BA1 board.
Check points and remedy
Check above and replace BA1 board.

13.LED BLINKING 18 TIMES (Digital modulator Error)
indicates Tuner error.
Causes
EMMA3SL micro is communicating with inside of the Tuner (TU2200) on BA1 board.
Check points and remedy
Check above and replace BA1 board.

14.LED BLINKING 19 (USB Error)
Indicates USB error.
Causes
EMMA3SL micro found out USB over current detection on BA1 board.
Check points and remedy
Check above and replace BA1 board.

16.LED BLINKING 21 TIMES (VCTP Error)
Indicates VCTP error.
Causes
VCTP micro (IC4701) does not work normally.
Check points and remedy
Check above and replace BA1 board
